Pam Hall joins Bob Marley and Dennis Brown as another of Jamaica’s music legends, born in the month of February. Her love for music started with performances in church then matured at Excelsior High and C.A.S.T and by the mid 70’s had become her career.

During her 30+ year career, Pam has toured extensively, sharing stage with the likes of Jimmy Cliff, Dennis Brown, providing backing vocals for international acts such as  Tracy Chapman and Maxi Priest  and opening for stars such as Aretha Franklin and Tina Turner, The Fugees, Courtney Pine, Queen Latifah, Eryka Badu, and Eve.

As a solo artist she has to her credit over 11 albums including ‘Always Love You’, ‘Missing You Baby’, ‘Magic’, ‘Pam Hall sings R&B Hits’, ‘Time for Love’ and more recently ‘Songs in the Key of Dancehall’, which she co-produced for her Virquarian label.

Awards

A 30+ year career from a superb artist is hard to go unnoticed, Pam has won several awards locally and abroad: Hilcrams Awards – Best Female Performer 1985; Best Female Vocalist for 1993/94, Caribbean Music Award; New York Reggae Award; Most Improved Artist 1993/94 Martins International; Jamaica Music Federation (JFM) Award, Best Jazz vocal female 1993/94 and 1994/95 among others, but most recently March 2009, a Best Artiste Award from industry organization J.A.R.I.A.
