Join JAMMS

We Are More Than Just Royalties

JAMMS offers life insurance coverage to its members. Each member can enroll for life insurance coverage under a Group Life Insurance Plan that JAMMS has brokered with Jamaica’s leading insurance company Sagicor Life.

Each member under 65 years old can enroll and their beneficiaries benefit from $2-4 million. Members over 65 and over can also enroll but coverage is limited to $2 million.

Each member pays to cover his own insurance premium. JAMSM does not cover the cost. JAMMS however allows for a member’s royalties to be used to cover his insurance premium.

JAMMS has also brokered group health insurance coverage with a leading insurance provider (Sagicor Life) for its members.

Coverage is provided for the widest array of health conditions including: Surgery, Dental Care, Eye Care, MRI, X-Ray, Diagnostic Tests, Dialysis, Prescription Drugs, Doctors Visits, and Hospitals Stays.

The Society offers 3 categories of health insurance coverage, with each providing Major Medical coverage of up to $5 million.

We have a team of professionals who are on the cutting edge of music industry knowledge. Members can rely on the Society’s expert team to help with guidance in navigating the complex world of copyright, related rights, publishing, digital distribution and royalty administration.
JAMMS has built a strong and reputable name for itself in the music industry and beyond. In this light, members can use their JAMMS ID/Membership Cards to access discounts at multiple establishments including gyms, health food restaurant, Hearing Specialist, Music Store, and others.
As a recognized national music industry body JAMMS is relied upon as a credible source for providing accreditation of Record Producers and Performers as bonafide industry practitioners. As members, Producers, Artists and Musicians can qualify to receive letters of accreditation to present to Embassies and High Commissions to support visa applications and other foreign travel requests.
